The content of this website has been created with great care. However, I cannot guarantee that it is accurate, complete or up to date. As a service provider, I am responsible for my own content on these pages under the general laws (§ 7(1) DDG). I am not obliged to monitor third-party information that is transmitted or stored, or to investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activity (§§ 8 to 10 DDG). Obligations to remove or block the use of information under the general laws remain unaffected. Liability in this respect is only possible from the moment I become aware of a specific legal violation; I will remove such content immediately once I do.
Liability for links
This website contains links to external websites over whose content I have no control. The respective provider or operator of a linked page is always responsible for its content. The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations at the time of linking, and no illegal content was apparent. Permanent monitoring of linked pages is not reasonable without concrete evidence of a violation. If I become aware of any legal violations, I will remove such links immediately.

Privacy Policy
1. Controller
The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is Marcus Rath, Steinstraße 45, 70794 Filderstadt, Germany, email: post@matrixpost.net.
2. Server log files
When you visit this website, the web server automatically records information that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, referrer URL, browser type and version, and operating system. This data is needed to deliver the website and to ensure its security and stability (e.g. defending against attacks). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log files are deleted after a short period unless they are needed to investigate a specific security incident.
3. Cookies and consent management
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. This website uses technically necessary cookies to function, and, only with your consent, cookies and similar technologies from third parties for advertising and analytics.
To manage consent, this website uses Google’s consent management platform (Google CMP), provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It is certified under the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF). If you visit from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, a banner asks for your consent before such technologies are used. You can consent, refuse (“Do not consent”) or make individual choices (“Manage options”). Your decision is stored in cookies on your device (e.g. FCCDCF, FCNEC).
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the “Privacy and cookie settings” button at the bottom left of every page, or here: Privacy & cookie settings
Legal basis: storing and reading information on your device for advertising and analytics is based on your consent (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Storing your consent decision is technically necessary (§ 25(2) TDDDG) and serves to fulfil the obligation to document consent (Art. 6(1)(c) and Art. 7(1) GDPR).
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, for example in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Microsoft Edge. Some features of the website may then not work as intended.
4. Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes information such as pages visited, time spent on the site, device and browser information and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses.
Google Analytics is only used with your consent (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Until you consent, Google Consent Mode keeps analytics cookies disabled. In this state, Google may receive cookieless signals that do not store or read anything on your device.
Google Signals: If you have consented and are signed in to a Google account with personalised advertising enabled, Google Signals allows cross-device reports. I only receive aggregated statistics, not personal data. You can turn this off in your Google ad settings.
Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, on the basis of which an adequacy decision of the European Commission exists (Art. 45 GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time via “Privacy and cookie settings”. More information: Google Privacy Policy.
5. Google AdSense
This website uses Google AdSense, an advertising service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to show ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud.
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google and its partners only store or read information on your device, and only show personalised ads, if you have consented via the consent banner (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Some partners may process data on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); you can object to this under “Manage options”. The full list of partners is available in the consent banner. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA (see section 4).
More information: How Google uses cookies in advertising.
6. Comments and spam protection (Akismet)
If you leave a comment, your name, email address, website (optional), comment text, IP address and the time of the comment are stored. This is needed to publish the comment and to be able to act against unlawful content (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your email address is not published.
To protect against spam, comments are checked by Akismet, a service of Automattic Inc., 60 29th Street #343, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA. The comment data mentioned above is transmitted to Akismet for this check (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is protecting the website from spam). Automattic is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More information: Automattic Privacy Policy.
7. Fonts
Fonts used on this website are hosted locally on this server. No connection to Google Fonts servers is made when the page loads.
8. Contact by email
If you contact me by email, I process the data you provide (e.g. your name, email address and message) to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). To exercise your rights, contact post@matrixpost.net.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the authority responsible for me: Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg (www.baden-wuerttemberg.datenschutz.de).
10. Privacy rights for residents of US states (e.g. California CCPA/CPRA)
I do not sell personal information for money. However, advertising cookies used by Google AdSense and its partners may count as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under the privacy laws of some US states. Visitors from these states can opt out at any time via the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link shown at the bottom left of the page, or here: Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
You also have the right to know which personal information is processed about you, to request its correction or deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact post@matrixpost.net.
